  • Lilac carafes are known to exist. It is believe that about 24 were actually produced.

  • When the clocks were introduced in 1993, they were sold through JC Penney’s.  They were taken out of production for a period of time & reintroduced in 1996 for general release.
  • You will notice that some of the clock plates / faces are more concave like a plate. Most of the clock plates I have seen & sold where flat.  So I’m thinking that in 1996 the clock was redesigned to a flat face.  However, I have not found this as written fact yet.
  • Approx. 200 Chartreuse clocks were produced in error due to JC Penny & HLC computers talking to each other.  You can read the full story in Terri Polick’s book “Modern Fiesta®
    1986-Present”.
  • Juniper clocks were sold exclusively through JC Penney’s.

  • This is also known as the Millennium Goblet.
  • You will see the initials “JG” under the base of the goblet.  These initials represent the chief modeler at HLC Joseph Geisse.
  • When HLC was designing the goblet for Bloomingdale’s, they also made a smaller version. HLC actually wanted to produce the smaller goblet as it fired more consistently.  However,  Bloomingdale’s went with the larger version. Cobalt, Gray, White, Periwinkle, Chartreuse, Rose & Yellow are known to exist.
