Betty Crocker® Limited Edition Mini Pitchers – Pattern No.’s: Seamist #5308 (Still researching the rest)
Betty Crocker® introduced the first four colors of the mini pitchers in the Fall 2004 sale catalog. Gold lettering marked the color’s name and introduction date on one side, while the reverse had a golden dancing lady.
The first four colors were: Sunflower, Cobalt, Persimmon, & Seamist. You could purchase them as a set of four or individually.
The next set to be released appeared in the Fall 2005 Betty Crocker® sale catalog. They were: Shamrock, Plum, Black, & Scarlet. These were also offered for sale as a set of four or individually.
Note: Plum was officially released for sale in January of 2002. However HLC took orders from retailers in 2001. HLC starts counting from when they start shipping, not when it is available to the general public. Hence the discrepancy between the 2001 and 2002 release date. Plum is the only color that has this date discrepancy.
The last set to be released appeared in Spring 2006. This time it was a set of three, however only two of the colors had not been sold before. Called “Retired colors set” They were: Seamist, Rose and Periwinkle.
In late spring 2005, as Betty Crocker® was beginning to prepare to close their doors, they offered all of the colors and at a lower individual price. There are a total of 10 different Betty Crocker® limited edition mini pitchers.
