Mr. Bingle

The History of Mr. Bingle:

A department store called Maison Blanche, founded in 1897, located on Canal Street in New Orleans decided that they wanted a special little character to use for their advertising, and so Mr. Bingle was born in 1948. To see a clip about this and how Santa made him click here.

Mr. Bingle 2014 – Pattern No. 41170

Fiesta® Mr Bingles 2014

Introduced in 2014 and exclusive to Dillard’s department stores.  These items were online only. Note that the snowman changed the next year.

Colors in this decal are: Scarlet, Black, Shamrock, Peacock, Tan, and a brown.

Around the edge of the plate it reads, “When Santa left his shop one day, He found a snowman near his sleigh. “You’ll be my helper now,” he said.  And tapped the little fellow’s head.  The snowman laughed and sang a jingle, so Santa named him Mr. Bingle.”
