Post 86 Back Stamps
You will notice that I reference a few pieces that do not have a “Fiesta®” back stamp. They have an HLC logo stamp like the one found on the jumbo mug. (see below picture)
You will also notice that mistakes happen. Below is a back stamp on a lilac jumbo saucer (below left). It should have the same back stamp as the jumbo mug (above), but it got stamped with a “Fiesta®” ink stamp. The scarlet saucer (below right) shows the correct back stamp.
Off centered stamps do not make it a second quality piece.
Below you will see a variety of Post 86 incised or embossed back stamps.
With the introduction of Chartreuse HLC added the “H” on select items to distinguish between vintage Fiesta® & Post 86 Fiesta®. Pieces you will find the “H” on are bud vases, bulb candle-holders, figure 8 trays, individual creamer, individual sugar bowls, large disk pitchers, medium vases, pyramid / tripod candle-holders, round salt – pepper shakers, sauce-boats, small / juice pitchers. You will find early versions of these items without the “H”. Click here to see an example of this on some bud vases.
