Post 86 vs Vintage 

Post 86 1 & 2 Quart Bowl vs Vintage 8-1/2″ & 9-1/2″ Nappie
You will notice most of the vintage nappies have a wet foot (glazed) but not all.  Also, sagger pin marks are usually around the underside of the rim.
P86 – 1 Quart – 8-1/4″ diameter x 2-3/4″ height

Post 86 Bistro Bowl (Medium) vs Vintage Individual Salad & Desert BowlS
The vintage dessert bowl has a wet foot (glazed) where the vintage individual salad does not.  The individual salad has an incised back stamp where the Post 86 bistro has an embossed style back stamp.

Fruit Bowl – Post 86 vs Vintage
The majority of the vintage fruit bowls have a wet foot (glazed) where Post 86 has a dry foot (unglazed).  However, you will find some vintage with a dry foot.

Post 86 Mixing & Baking vs Vintage Nested Mixing Bowls
Vintage Nesting / Mixing bowls have a wet foot (glazed) where Post 86 baking & mixing bowls are dry foot (unglazed).
There were 7 different vintage mixing bowls sizes made. On the base of the vintage bowls you will see a number which represents the bowl size. (see below right photo)  The different vintage mixing bowl sizes  (small to large) are, #1 – 4-15-16″ diam x 3-9/16″ h, #2 – 5-7/8″ diam x 3-15/16″ h, #3 – 6-11/16″ diam x 4-9/16″ h, #4 – 7-11/16″ diam x 5-1/16″ h, #5 – 8-9/16″ diam x 5-11/16″ h, #6 – 9-11/16″ diam x 6-5/16″ h, #7 – 10-15/16″ diam x 7-1/8″ h.

Post 86 Pedestal vs Vintage Footed Salad
The vintage footed salad bowl has a wet foot (glazed) where the pedestal bowl has a dry foot (unglazed).

The vintage deep plate is smaller & has a wet foot (glazed).

Small Bowl – Post 86 vs Vintage
Majority of the vintage small bowls / nappies have a wet foot (glazed) where Post 86 has a dry foot (unglazed).  However, you will find some vintage with a dry foot. You will also notice the vintage bowls have a wider more prominent rim.
