Vintage shakers all had 7 holes, however the pepper shaker has smaller & closer holes than the salt.

Sauceboats
Post 86 vs Vintage
You can see in the below picture that the vintage sauceboats do not have a dimple where the handle attaches to the body.  Also most post 86 sauceboats will have an “H” on the bottom.
